New Noga Light's Go-No-Go unit is a self contained test system that can be used in all weather conditions. The Unit is portable, easy to carry, designed to verify the Night Vision Devices, especially for the Aviator's Night Vision Goggles (NVG), AV/PVS-7 goggles type & monocular for operational readiness.The Go-No-Go is designed for the operator level use, therefore it is easy to use.The Go-No-Go is capable to perform basic checks such as infinity focus tube blemishes and resolution at two basic light levels, which are equivalent to full moonlight (High light level) as well as starlight conditions (Low light level). The Go-No-Go Test equipment can rapidly and easily verify the condition of other night vision equipment, and that by field personnel using the appropriate Go-No-Go's mechanical adaptors. The Go-No-Go uses a Build In Test (BIT), that carries out automatic checks, each time the test unit is switched ON. The Go-No-Go's power source comes from AA size, 1.5V standard commercial, alkaline battery, thus enabling 150 Hours of operation. The GNG withstands environmental requirements of MIL-STD-810. |
